Turin, 30 June 2017 – Deliveries with zero emissions in Turin and in other four cities of Piedmont thanks to CityLogin. Sephora Italia, committed to a environmentally-responsible route, has opted for the zero-kilometer logistic sustainable project of FM Logistic that will deliver shipments to the region for the leading cosmetic company. The fleet with a low environmental impact by FM Logistic - the international logistic operator leader in the supply chain and transport market, spread in 13 different countries and with a turnover of 1.034 million euros - will save almost one ton of CO2 emissions for each single truck every year.
In 2007 Carrefour France entrusted FM Logistic with its platform at Laudun L’Ardoise 50 km from Nîmes for it to manage the logistics for the non-food products for its hypermarkets in southern France. Ten years on, the warehouse has been extended to enable the distributor to deliver to almost 450 stores (Carrefour hypermarkets and Carrefour Market supermarkets) by 2018, compared to 45 currently, relying on a workforce that will eventually increase from 170 to 320 employees.
This development is part of a process of simplification and modernisation of Carrefour’s supply chain, with the aim of supplying its stores in the South of France whilst reducing transport costs and limiting its environmental impact.
Thanks to Citylogin, the sustainable logistic project, we will save 2,9 tons of CO2 for each single truck.

With the spectacular development of e-commerce since the beginning of the 21st century, consumers have become ever more demanding. According to a recent study*,
45 % of e-traders said that it took over four hours to process an order and give it to the carrier, while 58 % of cyber-buyers wanted delivery the same day.
In order to optimise e-order processing in warehouses, FM Logistic with partner Balea, specialist in logistic solutions, has developed an innovative solution adapted to e-commerce ; the e-Shopeur. The e-Shopeur is a trolley designed to make order picking easier for internet orders.

In France more than 20 % of the available capacity of transport SMEs goes unused ; at the same time many industrial SMEs struggle to find transport partners for their small loads.
It was this assessment that triggered the creation of Click&Truck, the first BtoB marketplace to match manufacturers’ requirements with transporters’ available capacities in real time.
Being open to initiatives and trends in the sector, FM Logistic is supporting the young start-up whose purpose is to facilitate relations between SMEs to generate a win-win situation.
Hardis Group, a digital services company and software publisher, has announced the launch of real-life testing of its drone solution designed to automate inventory-taking and inventory control in warehouses. The software publisher teamed up with Squadrone System to develop a fully assisted indoor drone, and international warehousing, transport and packaging leader FM Logistic to test the solution in real-life conditions in its warehouses.
The drone is equipped with sensors, enabling it to move around the warehouse autonomously, controlled by an operator. Its on-board camera identifies and captures inventory data which can be transmitted to any WMS on the market. The aim is to save time and increase productivity and safety in inventory and stock control operations.
