La logique des transports urbain

For 30 years now the FM Logistic group has been taking care of warehousing, co-packing and transport for Henkel, world leader in three sectors – Adhesive Technologies, Beauty Care and Laundry & Home Care – with brands such as Le Chat, Schwarzkopf and Loctite.

The partnership began in France in 1986 before expanding to Russia in 1999, Ukraine in 2008 and Romania in 2013.

FM Logistic’s brand new platform is in the region of Noguinsk, 40 km east of Moscow where operations will start on 1 September. Objective : to support Henkel’s development in Eastern Europe. The platform which will eventually measure 80 000 m² has been strategically built close to Henkel’s Beauty Care production site.

The first part of this class A platform (3 units) comprises offices and technical facilities. It has 26 000 m² of storage space for around 45 000 pallets including a special area for hazardous products (aerosols).

FM Logistic will provide Henkel’s Beauty Care factory (built here in 2014) with the full spectrum of warehousing and co-packing services for finished cosmetic products. It will also supply the factory’s production lines with raw materials and packaging.

The platform will open to other manufacturers during a second phase when temperature-controlled units will be available to the customers of FM Fresh, subsidiary of FM Logistic based in Russia since 2013.
