FM Logistic has been awarded the 2026 FEDETO Award for a Safe and Healthy Work Environment for its successful occupational risk prevention initiative implemented at its logistics hub in Illescas (Toledo).

The award was presented during the 30th anniversary gala of the FEDETO Awards, held on May 29 at the Los Lavaderos de Rojas estate in Toledo. The award, sponsored by Mobile Phone Telefónica Empresas, was accepted by Juan Manzanares Estrada, director of the FM Logistic Illescas platform.

This recognition highlights FM Logistic’s commitment to the safety, health, and well-being of people, which are considered fundamental pillars for ensuring sustainable and responsible operations in the long term.

The Company has an occupational risk prevention strategy based on a solid structure that integrates both in-house and external prevention services, as well as occupational risk prevention coordinators at all its work sites. These teams work daily to ensure the effective implementation of preventive measures and foster an active safety culture across all operations.

Under the motto “Safety First,” FM Logistic has implemented the so-called “Safety Fundamentals” in Illescas and at the Group’s other facilities—a set of mandatory standards aimed at strengthening safety at every workstation. Additionally, the Company has developed support and monitoring systems to ensure their proper understanding and implementation.

Among the most notable initiatives are the “Safety Gemba Walks,” regular meetings where directors, managers, and operations leaders spend time on the ground with operational teams to reinforce preventive leadership, dialogue, and the direct involvement of the entire organization in safety matters.

FM Logistic also promotes the overall well-being of its employees through specific programs focused on physical, mental, and emotional health. Among these is “Tú Nos Importas”, an initiative developed in collaboration with 3S Bienestar Corporativo—a project born out of the need to address the health and well-being challenges present in today’s workplace. Driven by Alimentación 3S and supported by a multidisciplinary team of health professionals, the program includes training content, webinars, in-person sessions, and informational materials aimed at promoting mental health, physical exercise, healthy habits, and emotional well-being.

Furthermore, the Company is committed to the active participation of employees in identifying risks and investigating incidents and accidents, with an approach based on organizational learning and continuous improvement.

With this recognition, FM Logistic reaffirms its commitment to creating increasingly safe, healthy, and people-centered work environments.
