L’Oréal Warsaw Plant and FM Logistic Central Europe extended their 17-year cooperation

L’Oréal Warsaw Plant, one of the most important production plants of the L’Oréal Group, and FM Logistic, a global logistics operator, extended their contract for another 4 years. This is a continuation of a cooperation that began 17 years ago.

L’Oréal logistical handling takes place in FM Logistic distribution centre in Blonie, near Warsaw, where the operation was started in December 2007. It offers comprehensive logistics services for clients from the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. It was the L’Oréal Warsaw Plant became the first customer of this centre many years ago.

L’Oréal Warsaw Plant produces 430 million cosmetics annually, such as shampoos, body lotions, tonics, micellar water, deodorants and hair dyes. Cosmetics produced near Warsaw are distributed to European countries as well as outside the European continent. The centre in Blonie functions as an international hub for L’Oréal factories from Poland, Germany and Belgium. “L’Oréal Warsaw Plant, as one of the largest cosmetics factories, needs a partner who responds quickly to all business needs, but is also able to support us in achieving our sustainable development goals. I am glad that we can count on FM Logistic CE in this area as well, I believe that the next years of our cooperation will be full of interesting, joint projects”, says Piotr Środa, Director of the Goods Flow Department at L’Oréal Warsaw Plant.

Year by year, FM Logistic expanded the scope of services provided to L’Oréal Warsaw Plant. Currently, it includes comprehensive logistic services: storage of finished products and packaging, handling and co-packing. To optimise and improve the efficiency of warehouse operations, FM Logistic has invested in double deep racks. “Dynamic adaptation to the requirements of the modern market enable us to flexibly respond to our customers needs and support L’Oréal Warsaw Plant in maintaining the leading market position. Relationships based on understanding and trust are an important element of our cooperation, and I am very happy that the next stage is ahead of us, we are ready for new challenges”, says Aneta Peczka, Key Account Manager at FM Logistic CE.

L’Oréal Warsaw Plant is the only plant in Poland owned by the world leader in the cosmetics industry, L’Oréal Group. For 25 years it has been producing cosmetics in Poland for brands in the L’Oréal portfolio such as Garnier, L’Oréal Paris, Mixa, Maybelline and Lascad.
