FM Logistic acquires land in Guadalajara to expand logistics operations

FM Logistic, an international logistics operator, has announced the acquisition of land in Guadalajara as part of its strategy to meet its continued growth in customers and operations.

In collaboration with Hercesa and NG Concept, the company is ready to build a new warehouse. The land, acquired from Hercesa, covers an area of 60,151m² and will serve as building space for FM Logistic’s new warehouse. This project will be carried out by NG Concept, the FM Group’s construction company, and will reflect the quality and sustainability standards that characterise the Company.

The new warehouse in Guadalajara, located in the Ruiseñor Sur industrial estate, will have similar characteristics to the FM Logistic warehouse in Illescas. The warehouse will initially occupy 35,000m², including 350m² for offices. This expansion is expected to generate significant growth in FM Logistic’s workforce, both in the warehouse area and in other key departments. Pablo Gomez, Managing Director of FM Logistic in Iberia said: “This expansion of the business in Guadalajara confirms the long-term growth of the business in Spain and we look forward to announcing further land acquisition confirmations on the Spanish mainland in the coming months.

In line with its commitment to sustainability, FM Logistic is committed to following LEED project requirements to ensure energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact. In addition, the building will meet the standards for Highly Protected Risk certification, ensuring safe operations.

The new warehouse will be built with high quality materials and will have green spaces, rest areas, parking and 24-hour security measures, both inside and outside.
