Through various activities, the FM Foundation reinforces the Group’s social responsibility by combining employee solidarity and professional sponsorship.
Day by day, the FM Foundation is committed to solidarity, especially at times when it is most needed by the most vulnerable groups. Thus, for example, during the weeks leading up to Christmas, dates of massive shopping promoted by the Black Friday and Cyber Monday campaigns, the FM Foundation promoted the value of generosity in all FM Logistic centres by collaborating with different associations.
Employees, collaborators, customers and the company once again showed their most caring side by donating food, personal hygiene products and toys so that people in need could also enjoy these very familiar and emotional dates.
The products collected were donated to different NGOs and disadvantaged families at risk of social exclusion, especially affected by inflation and the sharp rise in prices. For example, FM Logistic’s warehouse in Illescas collaborated with Social Services of the Illescas City Council in a collection of personal hygiene and baby care products and, as usual, toys and school supplies were delivered to Save the Children Illescas.
As a novelty this year, and at the suggestion of an employee of the company, the FM Foundation also collaborated with the Asociación Todos somos Edu through a charity market of Christmas cakes and accessories. In total, around €400 was raised, which was donated in its entirety to the association.
Once again this year, the FM Logistic facilities in Valls, Puigpelat and Ribarroja collaborated with the Red Cross in a toy and food collection that was very well received by employees. In addition, a large amount of warm clothing was also collected in Ribarroja.
In the Catalonia area, FM Logistic also participated with its client Möet-Hennessy in the preparation of bags of personal hygiene products for families in need. A group of volunteers from both companies worked for three days with the Non-Food Products Bank of Barcelona.

Although as a company we have grown and expanded a lot in all continents, we have never stopped being a family business that thinks about people and the most vulnerable groups. But hopefully one day these actions will no longer be necessary because poverty would have disappeared.
In total, this Christmas, more than a tonne of products were collected and all of them have gone to local institutions and NGOs near the locations FM Logistic has in the peninsula. But solidarity knows no season, so the FM Foundation continues and will continue to be committed to it.
