FM Logistic and the Red Cross consolidate a year of collaboration with social impact and job opportunities for vulnerable groups.

FM Logistic, through its Foundation (FM Foundation), and the Red Cross have concluded the first year of their collaboration with a very positive outcome, having driven a project focused on the social and labor inclusion of vulnerable people in the municipality.

During this period, the initiative, localized in the work carried out by the Red Cross from its Local Assembly in Xirivella, has facilitated access to basic resources such as food, hygiene products, healthcare, and school supplies for vulnerable families. This aid has been possible thanks to both Company donations and the direct involvement of its employees, who have actively participated in the various solidarity actions. The program has also incorporated activities aimed at children, including educational leisure proposals financed by FM Foundation, such as visits to the Oceanogràfic, with the aim of fostering the emotional well-being and comprehensive development of minors and their families.

In the area of job placement, the project has combined training, guidance, and direct contact with the professional environment. A total of 15 participants have accessed specialized training in highly requested profiles, such as forklift operator/picking and food handler. Furthermore, beneficiaries have been able to learn firsthand about the logistics sector through a visit to the FM Logistic center in Ribarroja, where Company employees shared their experience and day-to-day life in operational positions. The involvement of FM Logistic professionals has been key to the program’s development, also participating in socio-labor guidance and mentoring actions to support participants in their job access process.

This project reflects our real commitment to social inclusion, not only through funding but also through the direct involvement of our teams,” says José María March, Director of the FM Logistic Ribarroja platform.

For its part, the Red Cross Local Assembly in Xirivella emphasizes that “the collaboration with FM Foundation has been fundamental to being able to offer comprehensive support to the participants, combining social support, training, and access to real job opportunities.” This approach is complemented by the Company’s commitment to offering job opportunities to participants, establishing a direct link between the training received and their incorporation into the labor market.

Following the results obtained in this first year, FM Logistic and the Red Cross of Xirivella have expressed their willingness to continue this long-term collaboration, with the aim of further promoting initiatives that generate a positive impact on the local environment.
